Heavy-Duty Bearing System – Unlike later series that prioritize electrical efficiency, the C-SC series invests heavily in mechanical strength. It utilizes high-performance rolling bearings that effectively absorb both radial and axial during frequent start-stop operations – a common challenge in fixed-speed systems. This design significantly slows bearing wear and extends the compressor's service life under real-world operating conditions.
Direct-Acting Internal Protector – Equipped with a direct-cutoff internal motor protector that instantly breaks the circuit when winding temperatures or currents become abnormal. This hardware-based protection responds faster than external controller-dependent solutions – particularly valuable in regions with unstable power grids or aging electrical infrastructure.
Built-In Suction Strainer – A metal mesh filter is installed at the suction inlet to trap welding slag, metal debris, and other contaminants left in piping during installation or repair. This is especially critical in aftermarket retrofits where system cleaning may not be thorough.

Q1: The compressor fails to start. How to troubleshoot?

Symptoms: No response from the compressor after power is turned on, or it shuts down after emitting a "humming" sound.

Possible Causes:

Power supply failure — Blown fuse, tripped circuit breaker, low voltage.
Wiring issues — Poor connection or disconnected wires.
Control device failure — Malfunctioning thermostat, pressure switch activated.
Motor failure — Winding short circuit, open circuit, or grounded (touching the casing).

Solutions:

Check whether the compressor wiring and piping connections are normal.
Use a multimeter to measure the main and auxiliary coil impedance, as well as insulation withstand voltage.
Check whether the power supply voltage is within the rated range (When the voltage is too low, the locked-rotor current may not reach the protector trip current, which can cause the motor to overheat and burn out).
If all the above are normal, remove the compressor and perform a no-load test to check for suction and discharge — During operation, press your finger against the exhaust port for a few seconds and then release it to observe if gas sprays out.

Q2: What causes the compressor to suddenly stop during operation?

Symptoms: The compressor suddenly stops during normal operation and cannot automatically recover.

Possible Causes:

Suction pressure too low — Below the low-pressure limit of the low-pressure switch.
Discharge pressure too high — Causes the high-pressure switch to trip and cut off power.
Oil pressure too low — Oil pressure switch activated.
Motor overload — Thermal relay activated.

Solutions:

Check if the pipeline is blocked and if the system refrigerant is insufficient.
Check the condenser cooling water volume or cooling air volume.
Inspect the oil delivery system piping and oil pump.
Check if the power supply voltage is low or if the cooling load is too high.

Q3: How to handle excessively high discharge pressure?

Symptoms: The discharge pressure remains consistently high and may trigger a high-pressure alarm.

Possible Causes:

Insufficient cooling water for the water-cooled condenser, or insufficient cooling air volume for the air-cooled condenser.
Excessive scale or oil/dirt on the surface of the condenser tube bundle, making heat dissipation difficult.
Air (non-condensables) present in the refrigeration system.
Overcharging of refrigerant.
Valve failure in the exhaust pipeline.

Solutions:

Check if the valves are fully open, increase water supply, or check the motor voltage and speed.
Clean the scale, scrub off oil and dirt, and keep the surface of the condenser tube bundle clean.
Purge the air from the system.
Release excess refrigerant.
Inspect and repair/replace the valve.
