single-phase (CAJ) and
three-phase (TAJ) power versions, with connection types covering

Q1: Why do frost lines appear on the suction line and expansion valve after the compressor starts?
A: For medium-to-high temperature cold room applications, this is generally abnormal. It indicates that the suction gas superheat is too low, posing a risk of liquid refrigerant flood-back (liquid slugging). Common causes and solutions include:
Expansion valve opening too wide: This causes excessive liquid feed. Try turning the valve clockwise (closing it) to gradually increase superheat to
5–8°C.
Excessive system refrigerant charge: Check the sight glass and monitor pressures; recover part of the refrigerant if necessary.
Poor evaporator heat exchange: E.g., insufficient fan speed, dirty or iced evaporator coil.
Expansion valve sensing bulb issues: A loose or poorly insulated bulb will cause the valve to open incorrectly wide. Securely fasten the bulb at the
2 o'clock or 10 o'clock position on the suction pipe and insulate it properly.
