This group features medium-displacement models within the FH series, with displacements ranging from 40.8 to 49.0 cc, delivering cooling capacities from 2 HP to 2¼ HP. These compressors are compact in size and easy to install, offering excellent high-pressure resistance and strong operational adaptability across varied conditions. For each displacement, both single-phase (FH) and three-phase (TFH) versions are available, providing flexible matching to different power supply configurations. They are particularly well-suited for residential air-cooled air conditioning systems and cold storage / refrigeration applications. The stepped displacement design (40.8 → 43.9 → 49.0 cc) creates a clear power gradient, enabling precise model selection based on specific cooling load requirements.













Q1: Single-phase FH5522F / 5524F powers on but only "hums" without starting — appears dead

Cause: Start capacitor degradation or start relay contacts welded shut; the compressor itself is not faulty.

Answer: First measure the run/start capacitor µF value and replace with the same specification; then check terminal resistance (C-R / C-S / R-S). If resistance values are normal and insulation-to-ground is >2 MΩ, the compressor is fine — do not replace it.
Q2: TFH three-phase version frequently trips on thermal overload

Cause: Three-phase voltage imbalance (>2% voltage imbalance ≈ 10% current imbalance), dirty condenser coil fins, or outdoor fan motor failure → discharge temperature exceeds 115 °C and triggers protection.

Answer: Measure three-phase voltage/current balance; clean the condenser coil; check the outdoor fan capacitor and windings. The protector self-resets after 30–60 minutes — do not force continuous restarts.
Q3: Cooling capacity cannot reach 5483 / 5929 / 6811 W (at +7.2 °C condition)

Cause: Insufficient evaporator airflow, outdoor unit exposed to direct sunlight without shade, or annual R22 leakage not replenished.

Answer: Check the air side first, then the refrigerant side. The 55-series high-temperature units are extremely sensitive to condensing temperature — 54.5 °C is the rated upper limit; beyond that, cooling capacity drops sharply.
