The CSCR (Capacitor Start – Capacitor Run) starting configuration is the core electrical upgrade of the CLX.2 series. It incorporates both a run capacitor and a start capacitor: during compressor startup, the start capacitor delivers a massive current surge far exceeding normal levels, generating extremely high starting torque. This ensures reliable startup even when the system's high/low side pressure differential has not fully equalized, or when the lubricating oil has become viscous due to low temperatures. During normal operation, the run capacitor remains connected to the circuit, improving the motor's power factor, smoothing the current waveform, thereby reducing running current, minimizing motor heating, and enhancing overall efficiency. Taking the SC15CLX.2 as an example, its configuration of a 23.5μF run capacitor and a 410μF start capacitor works synergistically to deliver approximately 30%–40% higher starting torque compared to a CSIR solution of the same displacement, while significantly reducing vibration and noise during operation.

In addition, the CLX.2 series has passed two rigorous certifications: Hot Gas Defrost and Long Interval Pull Down. The Hot Gas Defrost certification means the compressor can withstand the reverse impact of high-temperature, high-pressure gas during defrost cycles without valve plate deformation or motor overload caused by thermal stress, thus ensuring long-term reliability through multiple daily defrosts. The Long Interval Pull Down certification indicates that after prolonged shutdown (e.g., overnight or holidays), when the system's internal pressure has fully equalized and the evaporator temperature has risen to ambient level, the compressor can still start successfully in one attempt and pull the system back down to the set low temperature, requiring no auxiliary heating or manual intervention.

The combination of these two certifications makes the CLX.2 the ideal power core for automatic defrost freezer display cabinets and cold room integrated units. In such equipment, defrost cycles are frequent and shutdown intervals are irregular. Ordinary compressors often suffer from difficult startup, motor protector tripping, or even burnout. With the strong starting capability of CSCR and its defrost-resistant design, the CLX.2 can operate stably for years in unattended conditions, significantly reducing after-sales maintenance costs and equipment downtime losses.
