Maneurop Piston Compressors are specially designed for a wide range of applications and offer an extensive operating range. To ensure a long service life, all components are of high quality and precision-engineered. The Maneurop MT and MTZ series compressors are hermetic piston compressors designed for medium- and high-temperature applications. Key features such as internal protection, high-efficiency ring valves, and high-torque motors combine to deliver a high-quality product. MT and MTZ compressors share the same mechanical structure and motor design.
MT compressors are charged with mineral oil.
MTZ compressors are charged with ester oil.
The entire compressor series supports the use of multiple refrigerants, depending on compatibility with the refrigeration oil and refrigerant. MTZ compressors can be installed in new systems and are also suitable for replacing older Maneurop® MTE compressors in existing systems. MT and MTZ compressors feature a large internal volume, enhancing their resistance to liquid slugging when liquid refrigerant returns to the compressor. These compressors are fully suction-gas-cooled, meaning no additional cooling devices are required. This allows for the installation of acoustic covers on the compressor shell to achieve lower operating noise without the risk of overheating. The MT and MTZ series includes 16 different models with displacements ranging from 30 to 271 cm³/rev. Motors are available in 7 different electrical configurations, including single-phase and three-phase, 50 Hz to 60 Hz.
